This Builder Series Aluminum Castle nut offers weight savings over a traditional steel mil spec castle nut. It features unique machine work to enhance the appearance as well as reduce overall weight. It is light but strong enough to keep your buffer tube secure. It is anodized with the same method as all of our components in order to keep the coloring consistent.

The Builder Series AR-15 Buffer Tube is manufactured in-house and finished with hard anodize for lasting performance. It is billet machined from 6061-T651 aluminum for tighter concentricity than a forging or impact extrusion to reduce potential for bolt carrier binding.
